Snapshot your book as a version and build from it.
What a Version Is
A complete, private snapshot of your book.
A Version is a full snapshot of your manuscript at a moment in time, stored under versions/ as a .ple manifest with its own pages. Each version is independent: publishing one never changes another or the manuscript.
Work With Versions
Create, edit, and build from a version.
Use the Version selector in the Manuscript dock to switch between the manuscript and your versions. Version pages open in the same editors, and the Build Book dialog can build from the manuscript or a version.
- -New version snapshots the current manuscript.
- -Version Details shows the version's metadata.
- -Regenerate from Manuscript replaces a version's content deliberately.
