Writing in Panulat is free and needs no account. Choosing device or browser storage does not itself upload your project files. Optional usage and crash reports are separate choices, both off by default.

BookVC and PenPal AI

BookVC stores the books you choose to save to BookVC. PenPal sends your request and selected context to an AI service for the action you request.

Your account

We use the information you provide to manage sign-in, subscriptions, and communication. Payment processing or invoicing may require a billing address.

Community and support

When you contact us or participate in community spaces, the information you share is also subject to the privacy policy of the platform you use.

Who is Natad Corporation?

Natad Corporation is the company that owns Panulat.

Information you provide

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, and the details you send when contacting us. We use this information to provide services, manage your account, respond to you, and send important updates.

When you choose a third-party sign-in, we receive the information you authorize that service to share. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for website functions.

Google sign-in and integrations

We may store basic Google account information such as your name, email address, or account identifier, as authorized by you, for authentication or personalization. We do not share or reuse this information for another purpose. We request only the permissions needed for the feature and do not collect or store your Google login credentials. We do not access emails, files, or other private Google content unless the feature requires it and you authorize access.

Other Google data is used only for the requested feature during the current session, and is not shared, sold, or reused for another purpose. You can revoke access through your Google Account permissions. Future features that need expanded access or store additional Google data will require your explicit consent and an updated policy.

Optional usage and crash reports

Your consent

Product Analytics and Crash Diagnostics are separate choices, both off by default. We ask for your consent before sending either. Declining or withdrawing consent never disables editing, saving, Build Book, or paid features.

What reports contain

When enabled, Product Analytics collects a limited set of information about app sessions, feature use, book builds, and updates. Build reports include the format (PDF or EPUB), the outcome, and the time taken in broad ranges. Crash Diagnostics collects a filtered crash category, the Panulat version, operating system, and processor type.

These reports do not collect manuscript text, book titles, filenames, filesystem paths, images, fonts, PDF or EPUB contents, license keys, promotion codes, authentication tokens, email addresses, raw IP addresses, raw error messages, or stack traces.

Identifiers and purpose

Reports use coded account and installation identifiers. They can be linked to the same account or installation and are not anonymous. They travel over an encrypted connection. We do not use them for advertising, cross-company tracking, fingerprinting, or deciding access to features.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Cloudflare provides hosting, storage, network, and security services that process optional usage and crash reports on our behalf. BookVC uses cloud storage for the books you choose to save to BookVC; PenPal processes your selected context through an AI service to fulfill your request.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless the law requires a longer period. Optional reports have these limits:

• Individual usage records: up to 90 days.
• Filtered crash categories: up to 30 days.
• Hourly summaries: up to 90 days.
• Daily summaries: up to 24 months.
• Records of withdrawn consent: up to 120 days, to prevent deleted information from being reintroduced.

Combined statistics that have permanently lost any link to an account or installation may remain.

Your choices and rights

Optional reporting controls

Where available in your Panulat app, Privacy & Data lets you disable either optional reporting choice at any time. Opting out immediately stops new collection and removes unsent reports from the device. Delete Analytics Data requests deletion of usage and crash information linked to your account, with account verification required. You can also contact us for help.

Personal information

You can manage communication preferences through your account settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, ask us to restrict how we process it, or object to certain uses.

Security and international processing

We use security measures to protect your information. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries where Panulat or its service providers operate. We process personal information based on consent, the need to fulfill a contract, legal obligations, or legitimate business interests.

Children

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected it, contact us for prompt removal.
