Frequently asked questions about pricing
Do I have to pay for commercial use?
No. Panulat is free for writing and Builds, including books you sell. If your organization uses Panulat, we encourage a Commercial License to help support Panulat’s development.
Do I need an account?
No — not for Panulat itself. Writing, Boards and PDF/EPUB Builds need no account. BookVC cloud backup and PenPal AI are account-based.
How do PenPal AI allowances work?
Usage resets monthly, including for annual subscribers, so a yearly plan does not include a full year of usage upfront. Compare Standard and Plus on the PenPal AI page.
How do the BookVC trial and refunds work?
BookVC includes a 7-day trial, card required; billing starts at its end unless cancelled. Patron and Commercial licenses are digital licenses and are non-refundable. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact support within 7 days — see the Refund Policy for details.
Do you store, access, or process my books?
Panulat does not require an account for writing and book creation. If you choose BookVC, your projects are backed up to the BookVC cloud so you can restore them.
What does the Patron license grant?
Early access to beta versions, community badges, and exclusive supporter channels. Patron directly supports independent Panulat development and keeps Panulat free for everyone.
