What the Code Editor Opens
Every file type has a text surface.
The Code Editor is the raw view of a file. Manuscript pages (.plp), chapter manifests (.plc), the project file (.plx), board files (.plb), cards (.plr), and Markdown notes (.md) all open here.
- -Page files are the same content the Visual Editor shows.
- -Manifests list the pages that belong to a chapter.
- -Markdown files are freeform notes and PenPal plans.
Editing and Saving
Type, save, and use the zoom gesture.
Changes are saved when you press Ctrl+S or through the normal save flow. Ctrl/⌘ + scroll zooms the editor font without resizing the window, and the zoom returns to normal with the same gesture.
