Visual Editor

Design pages with blocks, components, and real page geometry.

Blocks and Components

Pages are built from stacked blocks.

The Visual Editor shows your page on real paper geometry: the trim size and margins you chose. Add paragraphs, headings, chapter titles, images, and columns from the Components dock, then drag blocks to reorder them.

  • -Components dock holds every block type.
  • -Drag between the library and the canvas, or between blocks.
  • -Columns containers hold side-by-side content.
The Inspector

Style the selected block.

Select a block to edit its styles in the Inspector: alignment, spacing, padding, color, and column settings. Every change updates the page and the exported book the same way.

Page Settings and Overflow

Keep content inside the page.

Page Settings controls trim, margins, page numbering, and facing pages. If a block grows taller than the page, the spill zone appears below the page marked Outside the printable page, and an amber warning appears in the status bar.

  • -Overflow warning chip in the status bar.
  • -Blocks outside the page stay editable.
  • -The Previewer shows the same geometry as the export.
